Memory Storm
(Acrylics:24x36)
Memory Storm

Nearly everyone has been caught in a hailstorm or has seen one reported on the televised news. This memory storm happened when I deliberately retrieved a childhood memory. What happened was an almost violent bombardment of memories coming from all directions in my mind. It began with the one memory I had to retrieve and it soon erupted into a hailstorm of memories. My first reaction was to turn the memory flow off but instead I stood out in the open and let them all fall, come at me. I knew I had to deal with them, once again.  The painting is my Memory Storm.
